Great Stuff

I saw these on TV on a morning show and was intrigued. I bought one for myself and one for a friend. Fascinating magnetic liquid. Beautiful.

Very fun little 'sculpture'

I got this for my son (who'd seen a lot of videos on ferro-fluids). He loved it. The only issue I have is that the red-dye dissipates in the water which is left cloudy. If I were to buy it again, I would get the version without the dye.

It's Awesome, but one minor problem

It's a great conversational item, I have it a work next to my computer (probably not the best place for it) and my coworkers love playing with it! Some thought it was a living thing (like a weird sea urchin) until it gets played with. I just have to tell them that the fluid might stain the glass if you keep the magnet on it. However the only problem I have with it is when you mess with it the red paint gets mixed up and it becomes a red snowglobe for a couple of hours
