MTR Designs is a small, passionate product design studio specializing in creating mesmerizing ferrofluid sculptures that beautifully blend science, art, and engineering.

Founded in 2015 by Matt Robison, the journey began after a life-changing plane crash that prompted Matt to choose to pursue his passion of inventing products that fuse science and art—resulting in the world's most captivating ferrofluid displays.

Our flagship creations include the RIZE (a spinning ferrofluid desktop sculpture) and the Ferroflow, along with other innovative designs in development. Each piece is handmade in our Auburn, Alabama studio by a dedicated small team, using high-quality materials and meticulous craftsmanship.

Ferrofluid—originally developed by NASA—dances, spikes, and flows in response to magnetic fields, turning physics into living kinetic art that never fails to captivate.
